THE VENUE

SAN YSIDRO RANCH

About The Venue

We are honored to share this significant moment with you in such a historic and magical locale. San Ysidro Ranch was originally part of a land grant by Charles III of Spain. During the late 1700s, the fertile grounds served as a haven to Franciscan friars who named the land after Saint Isidore. By the late 1800s, the Ranch had been acquired by the State of California and shortly thereafter purchased as a citrus farm. San Ysidro produced roughly 300,000 oranges and 100,000 lemons annually until it was converted to the iconic hotel it is today. Winston Churchill, Audrey Hepburn, Lucille Ball, Bing Crosby and the Kennedys are just some of the famed figures that once strolled the grounds. We sincerely hope you will love the Ranch as much as we do, and encourage you to notice the markings of its storied past all around you.
